Bournemouth Backchat Episode #45 — The Comeback from COVID

No guests for us this week in the end. Leaving the Bournemouth Backchat trio to their own devices to discuss coming back in a post-COVID town…

It’s a bit of a shorter affair than planned with Bournemouth Backchat this week. We lost our guest panellist at the last minute. An event that leaves our presenters Dale, James, and Aaron to discuss the old-fashioned way.

This week, it’s all about coming back from COVID. How do we innovate businesses to boost the economy? A bit like the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, but better. Avoiding the second wave that the hospitality industry was unfairly blamed for last autumn.

To add a bit of variety, Aaron suggested the idea of a dream meal segment. In a similar vein to Off Menu with Ed Gamble and James Acaster. Something that culinary polar opposites Dale and James react to with varying degrees of enthusiasm.
