A far more light-hearted set of discussions this week… plus someone plugs his book again…
After a pre-amble dedicated to the otherwise proverbial elephant in the room (Dale’s new book), this week’s episode of our podcast, Bournemouth Backchat, reverts to its less austere nature, after a couple of heavy weeks talking about the worldwide public outrage.
This week, Dale tries to convert Aaron, who has never owned a games console, into a gamer. Aaron, in turn, ponders over other states and societies following suit with Capitol Hill, Seattle and becoming autonomous, policeless zones. Following examples also forms a trigger for James’ topic, as he discusses if other celebrities should take a leaf from Marcus Rashford’s book and get more involved in politics.
Our singer in residence, Aaron, gives us a rather apt musical number this week — a cover of Bob Dylan’s “The Times They Are A-Changin'”.
